Liquids stay cool twice as long as liquids in regular un-insulated, single layer plastic bottles. Just how long it stays cool depends on the temperature and amount of liquid and/or ice in the bottle, the temperature outside and the duration of use.

You can safely clean Polar Bottles in the dishwasher by placing them away from the heating element. Polar Bottles can also be hand washed using dish liquid or baking soda. The large mouth provides access to the interior of the bottle for ease of cleaning. The valve can be removed with a simple twist and pull for thorough cleaning and to prevent the build-up of bacteria.

You can freeze your Polar Bottle. Partially fill the bottle, freeze it and then add more liquid for best results.

Although people do put hot liquids in our bottles, they were not designed for it and we do not recommend doing so. You would not want to squeeze an extremely hot liquid into your mouth. The bottle's insulating factor will keep liquids warm during Winter hiking or skiing and the liquid in the bottle will not freeze as quickly when used outside during cold weather.

Polar Bottle has a standard 63mm diameter mouth to accommodate other types of bottle tops or filters. If you have any problem with a Polar Bottle cap, Polar will replace it.

The removable carrying strap lets you literally InchTake the Bear Everywhere Inch. You can easily pull it off when you remove the cap if you choose to.
