RockShox GT LTS Coupe Deluxe Shock -- $150.00 $9.94 -- 1998 RockShox Rear Shock with trunion. These RockShox Frame Shocks were original equipment on GT and Schwinn Bicycles (most notably the LTS) however they are compatible with many other brands as well! Since these do not have traditional eyelets like most frame shocks. The eye is a regular type with removable bushings (50mm total width), but the body eye has an adjustable trunion with a fixed total width of 76mm. The trunion adjusts to match the coil spring length as you add or reduce preload. Since the trunion changes the length of the shock, the best guess as to an eye to eye length (term used loosely here) is 95mm. As for stroke, the shock is capable of 1.5 inches, but a large bottom out bumper limits this travel realistically to 1.25 inches. If you have an old GT LTS with a Coupe Deluxe, this shock should be a direct bolt-on replacement. However, if you have another bike that came with a traditionally eyeletted Coupe Deluxe, you may be able to retrofit the body eye from your old shock to this one. Don't waste time and money trying to rebuild your old shock, at this price just buy a whole new one!
